The Talley shows and Translations are among the best theatrical productions I’ve ever seen in town. ANy chance of a full year season sometime?

  2. Mark Robbins Says:

We’d like to go in the direction of a full year season; it’s just a little out of our financial reach at the moment. Thanks, so much, Gus, for letting us know that our work is getting out there and reaching people.

  3. Brenda Says:

Am I seeing this correctly? Your 2009 season consists of ONE play?

  4. Mark Robbins Says:

It’s no secret that financial times are very hard, and our funding has suffered. Yes, we’ve been forced to dramatically scale back our productions this year to just the one show, and frankly, we’re very glad we can afford one! We have our eyes fixed on next year, however, and we’ve been able to enlist the aid of a brand new Development Director who will help us to get back to a multi-play season in 2010.

Meantime, we’re very excited about Glengarry Glen Ross and we’re putting our full weight behind making it a memorable night in the theatre.

    Hey Mark
Glad to see you are doing Glengarry! What a sweet script-do you hold auditions for the Actors Theatre? How does one get involved?
    Thanks
    Scott

We do, of course, hold auditions. Usually we have general auditions once a year (scheduling varies) and we hold callbacks for individual shows. Anyone interested in auditioning need merely let us know, and you’ll go in the local artist databank.
